Sunflower Triangle Shaker

Shake, shake, shake! Learn Suzanne's secret technique that makes shaker cards a breeze to create! Each shaker can be used as a card itself, or added as an embellishment to a gift box, altered art or whatever you can think of! This fun and interactive class features 5 unique shaker card designs where all the students will create the actual cards on the display. Each card in class will use a different template, so they will all be different sizes and shapes with a variety of stamping techniques and styles. Also in this class Suzanne will introduce her newest template for creating unique triangle shaped shaker cards with a bonus template for creating matching triangle shaped envelopes. Each student will receive a free template set to take home. This is a 3 hour class. Students should plan to bring their own basic supply kit with scissors, cutting mat and sharp craft knife to reduce any waiting time for shared materials.

A great follow up class to beginning shakers for students who want to make and shake even more, or for the student who prefers a less structured more free flowing format. (You do not have to take beginning shakers to enjoy this class.) In the first segment Suzanne will walk the students through each step to create this exact card. In doing this together, students will learn all of her best kept bead secrets and the keys to creating quick and easy shaker cards that are self contained with no messy edges to hide! Then for the second segment of the class, Suzanne will turn everyone loose with all of my templates, stamps, inks and bead supplies to make as many cards as they can in the allotted 2 hours for class. Each student should be able to complete 3 to 5 more cards in class and everyone will go home with a set of free shaker card templates ($5.00 retail value) and written class instructions. Surprise Shaker Card

An advanced level shaker card class that teaches students how to create amazing 'Surprise Inside' shaker cards. We will make two of these advanced cards together in class, (we need 2 hours!) This amazing technique is sure to wow even the most hard to please artist! Students will definitely want to bring their own scissors, cutting mats and craft knives. This class will really give your brain a workout, so be sure to eat your Wheaties and come prepared to learn this unique technique!

This "Antique" Travel Keepsake Box is truly an adventure in collage! These special boxes with the domed keepsake tops will be antiqued, stamped, colored and collaged in class. All ephemera seen on the sample is included! What a fun way to store special tokens from travels you've taken, or dreams of future trips! This is a 3 hour class. Students should plan to bring their own basic supply kit with scissors, cutting mat and craft knife to reduce any waiting time for shared materials. Whether you have lots of experience with micro-beads or you're just getting started, this class provides some great basic information of how to add micro beads to your artwork. Students will complete the five sunflower themed projects shown: Simple Shaker Card, Beaded Card, Shaker Tag, Beaded Pen and Post-It Note Purse.
